Rita DiLorenzo

Biography

Rita DiLorenzo is an artist and designer. She studied fashion and pattern design at Apparel Arts in San Francisco, graduating 2000, then received her BA in painting and drawing from San Francisco State University, 2005. Exhibitions of her artwork include The Lab, Build, the SF Main Library, Space 868 in Bolinas, and the Oakland Art Gallery. Costume design projects include the Foundry's "Fleshing Memory" performed at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and "Second Memory" at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She is currently in the process of launching a line of concept clothing, titled "black label", mixing art and fashion through reworked, recycled, one-of-a-kind designs.
